Mexico!

We were lucky enough to get away for an impromptu visit to Cabo, Mexico with my parents. Needless to say it was fantastic to get away from the cold and the work of our CO life right now and get some time with Nana and Papa! We ate mucho guac and chips and drank way to much cervazas and Coca. Here are a few of our favorite memories:
Matt and his fru-fru drink...really?

The girls watching the local performance group at the Farmer's Market. The whole thing was in Spanish (obviously) and the girls' faces say it all. They were trying so hard to make sense of it and of course Mom and I were cracking up at their facials. Finally we pulled them away and Millie says, "That act was BORING!"

Daddy's girl!

For two pesos you could be an artist. I loved watching the girls interact with other children. Even though there wasn't much talking there was a lot of smiling.

Millie with her creation!

Ruby

Millie liked leaving messages in the sand for us to find!

Watch out Bo Derek!

The girls were such good little diners whenever we went out. They even got adventursome enough to try squid....and loved it!

In the square at San Jose Cabo!

One of my favorite moments...just before this shot. Millie, Ruby and I were browsing in a small shop. As we left....
Libby - "Buenos noches!"
Millie - "Bye!"
Ruby - "Adios amigos!" (spoken like a true gringo)
Nana and Papa and the girls at our favorite beach - lots of big waves and seashells!

Whale watching! It was so incredible to see them rolling and crashing in the waves. We even spotted a baby and its mother!

Whale-ho says Melbo!

How much guac and chips can one family consume...don't ask.

Best quotes of the trip:
Ruby approaches a little boy at the resort pool and says, "Hola." The little boy turns to her and says, "I don't speak Spanish!"
Ruby - "I am a really great Spanisher."
