Mountain House ReDo - Demo Done!

So our part of the demo is done!  Matt has worked incredibly hard this past month to get everything out of the house so the asbestos removal can begin.  He hauled out about six rolls of carpet and at least three trailers full of heaters, tack strip, carpet pad, trim, linoleum, etc. etc.!  The plan was for us to do it together, but a nasty case of the flu and a yucky sinus infection had me out of the game!  The girls and I did make it up last weekend to help finish the last of the carpet and the cleaning.  As of last Monday the asbestos team was ready to do their thing, which is scheduled for about two weeks.  After that it is down to the studs and then we rebuild.  Our hope is to get the fireplace fixed SOON so it won't be so cold when we work. Dreaming of the days when everything is in its place...
