Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving was awesome! We were so excited to have my sister and her family here to celebrate with us. We had way too much food (which turned out pretty well I thought for a first-timer) and way too much fun. The weather was beautiful for three of the days they were here, so we were able to get to the park and into the mountains. Friday night we went out for dinner together and walked out to inches of snow. Matt, David (my bro-in-law) and my nephew Jacob all had a little too much fun playing in the snow that night - creating a huge, beer-drinking snowman. Thankfully, Jacob replaced the beer bottle the next day with a coke bottle (what would the neighbors say?!?!). What a responsible young man (somewhat unlike his crazy uncle and dad :) !) We were hoping that they could stay one more night, but we were happy they were able to get in some family-time and sight-seeing before heading home. There is just nothing better than being with family! Thanks for making the drive out Purcells - we love you all!
