We have been hard at work again on our latest house project. We finally tackled the master bedroom. When we moved in the room was quite BLAH - off-white walls and wood trim. Not to exciting to say the least. With a little paint and some elbow grease we transformed it into a cozy place to relax. Matt installed our new doors (throughout the second floor) and helped me paint. He also changed out all the electrical switches and plugs since the old ones were quite dirty and I didn't want to electrocute myself trying to clean them! We were also able to put in some new black-out curtains and fixtures. The biggest improvement was the bathroom vanity. It was pretty shabby, but a fresh coat of paint on the cabinet makes it look pretty nice (in my opinion). We are thinking that maybe in a year or two we will do some renovations to the bathroom itself, but for now this is enough to make it nice for us!
