Star of the Week

Ruby is Star of the Week at preschool this week and she is so excited. Being Star of the Week means:

1. You get to fill out a cool poster all about you and share it with your class.

2. Every day you go to school you get to take a show and tell item and tell your class about it.

3. All your friends sing a cool song about you "This is Ruby and she's special..."

For her first day of show and tell Ruby took Pink Baby, her most prized possession. Of course all the kids wanted to know why both her hands were missing (BEAR!). Ruby patiently told the kids all about Pink Baby's origins and her tragic accidentS. Of course even after the delicate explanination, Joe (not the best listener obviously) was still in the back saying, "What happened to its hands?" What a crack up. Perhaps they should have some preschool sensitivity training!

Filling out Ruby's poster was a lot of fun. Here are a few of her comments/answers:

*Baskins-Robbins is my favorite place (her father's daughter).
*When I grow up I want to be a rock star.
*If I had one wish I would wish for a unicorn.
*My favorite food is nachos (she had Lunchables Nachos for lunch the hour before - for the first time ever).
*My favorite thing to do is watch movies (that one warmed the cockles of my heart - ugh!).

That's it for Ruby's stardom until Friday - tune back in for more celebrity gossip then!
