Millie's class had their year-end Author's Tea today and it was fabulous. It was quite obvious that all the kids worked hard to prepare for this special day. I know how nervous I get when I have to speak to any size of audience, but they pulled it off like seasoned veterens. Millie read two pieces: How to Make Cupcakes (a how-to story) and Vanilla Learns to Swim (fiction). I can't get over how imaginative she is...I don't think I am biased at all! I obviously was holding the digital camera incorrectly, so you have to crook your head to the side to watch (or just close your eyes and listen to her lovely voice - like a book on tape). Hope you enjoy it!
