Now that school is done I have had a lot more time to spend in the garden! I love to watch everything grow and bloom and weeding feeds my perfectionist, compulsive side! Here is what is blooming in my garden!
My "Bella Donna" delphiniums - in honor of Grandma Chap Chap
The only peony that bloomed this year - some of my plants are just getting started and others I transplanted, but I did get one big one to remind me of Grandma Ruth. I have Ralph's Big Red Rose as well, but I didn't get a picture taken. I can still hear Papa Cookie singing, "When you wore a tulip, a big yellow tulip. And I wore a big red rose!"
Love the smell of lavender!
We have a thing for gnomes apparently! This little gal watches over one of our pots!
Love the color of these coral bells. I have a hosta that is the same color...makes me happy to look at them!
My mom-in-law Mary gave me the giggle sign years ago, but it still makes me smile! And these flowers are extremely hardy and easy to grow!
I believe our little gnome is receiving a blessing from above...hopefully the columbine got a little of the residual!
