Big Events!

Millie went to Girl Scout camp early in the summer for the first time.  I was more than a little anxious to leave her for a week, but we were so glad she had the experience.  She came back home with a new sense of independence and confidence!  We heard many stories that had us cracking up and rolling our eyes.  My personal favorite was a skit the counselors did to teach the girls all about "BIFFY" (Bathroom In the Forest For You).  The demonstrations of buddy bathroom procedures were the best.

In another great step of growing up, Ruby got her ears pierced!  She was really brave and has been so responsible when it comes to caring for them.  There's nothing like a little bling to make a girl feel fabulous!
