Tonight is the last night for the girls to stay at 6929 Oak Street. They will be staying with Nana and Papa for the next two days so that Matt and I can finish up all the last minute tasks. The shipping company is coming on Friday to get the Saab and we will be doing some cleaning/repairs before attempting to pack the mini-van with all our temporary housing needs. I am getting a little nervous that it won't all fit - what to take and what to leave behind?!?! At times I don't think I can make one more decision...do we really need to take all those toys, or can we leave the spices...its just too much sometimes!!! Come by the house on Friday afternoon and you might
get to see Matt and I fist-fighting about whether the extra set of bath towels are
staying behind, or the extra camping gear. He has already refused to get a "turtle shell" attachment for the roof - way too dorky. I guess we could always strap the girls to the roof - think Aunt Edna in National Lampoon's vacation. When it comes down to it, we will be leaving on Saturday morning, with the towels or without. I just have to keep reminding myself that we are not going to a foreign country where Target doesn't exist. If all else fails, I set my sights on the "bullseye" and buy the essentials to get us through until everything makes its way to Colorado.Millie and Ruby couldn't wait to pose for the pictures. Millie thought pretending to sleep would make for more drama! Ruby told me this afternoon exactly how she would snuggle baby in her picture. Clearly they take after their mother when it comes to theatrics.
