Cancel the application to the Dream Factory - another one of Matt's dreams has come true...a trip to REI (the everything outdoor superstore). After much researching of camping gear on the Internet, we made the trip to REI to purchase.....nothing. Oh wait, the girls each got a new fleece to take camping (Ruby wanted to test hers out in the store - see pictures). How do kids manage to make everything work to their advantage? The store was very cool with a special kids' area where we hung out while Matt shopped. The coolest thing about the evening was running into a friend's brother-in-law in the sleeping bag section. We had never met him, but we had met his son one Sunday at Hillcrest (what a small world). I guess it is
back to Internet shopping for us, or next week's camping trip may be our last.
