Yes - for all you John Prine fans - those are lyrics to his song. We were able to get out of the city this last weekend and frolic in the mountains (with John Prine providing the background music). We visited Bear Creek park (also known as Lair of the Bear) and Matt and the girls wet a line. Ruby decided that she didn't like fishing because she wasn't catching anything. We didn't have the heart to tell her that trout don't usually r
espond to Bratz fishing poles with no bait. Millie had lots of fun making mud pies and throwing rocks into the river. It took all of her self-control(?!) to keep from getting entirely immersed in the water. Matt and I are so thankful for the peace and serenity of the mountains - it felt like a vacation and we only had to drive for an hour. We were able to have a great little lunch at an old hotel in Evergreen - come on out to visit and we can go there together!

Lib,
You really should pen a novel. I love reading the "Happenin's". Looks like you all are having a fun adventure. Can't wait to come and visit. Give the girls big hugs and kisses. Would offer one for Matt but I know what his response would be....HA.

I wish I was cool enough to know who John Prine is...I wish I was cool enough to keep it to myself that I don't...I'm thankful I'm cool enough to have you as a friend. ;) Can't wait to see pictures of your camping trip!! Get on it girl.
I've been keeping up on your new adventure. I'm so excited for you guys!
