Trimming the Tree

We missed out on the cut-your-own-tree permit this year, so the girls and Matt headed for the local tree "corner" (think Charlie Brown tree lot) and brought back a beautiful Fraser fir! Didn't realize how much I missed those big, full trees. We did have a little trouble getting the ornaments to hang amidst all those needles. They are sort of laying on the tree instead of hanging, but it is quite beautiful nonetheless! The girls were in charge again this year and they did a splendid job - eating more than hanging the candy canes, but I say that is fair payment!
