Matt and I finally caved! The girls have been pleading for years to take the trip to Disney and we put it off as long as we possibly could. However, this year we decided we better invest in the trip this year or we would be paying for therapy later. The girls had an absolute blast and Matt and I had our moments of pure enjoyment (despite the crowds, noise, and general mayhem). Magic Kingdom was truly magical that first day and night - fun rides, Mickey ears, a parade, fireworks, and a brilliant tech show that transformed Cinderella's Castle (or as Millie referred to it: Cindy's Castle). It was a non-stop week of early mornings, late, late nights (dinner at 9 and bedtime at 11:30) and lots of great memories!
Let the adventure begin!
We chose the cheap seats (so to speak) since we didn't spend a lot of time there. We stayed at Disney Pop Century Resort in the 80's building. A little trip down memory lane for Matt and I!
Main Street U.S.A.
Proof that we were there!
We ain't scared of no Haunted Mansion. Thought we were going to have a repeat of Marci and Libby taking the chicken exit, but my girls are made of tougher stuff!
The first roller coaster ride. I think Matt was more terrified of the girls falling out!
