Soccer season has come to an end. The Sparkle Hoppers had another great season and we continually gave thanks for the great girls, families and coaches that we share the season with. The end of the season celebration was especially great as we were able to give a special gift to our head coach who is retiring from the team to coach his son next season. We will miss the positive influence he has been for the girls, but so fortunate to have him build such a strong foundation both as players and people. Ruby was awarded Best Goalie (for leaving it on the field every time) and Millie was named Most Aggressive Player (I wonder where she gets THAT!?!?). She actually had a penalty this season and there were times when I could hear actual grunting from the field!!
