This week the girls started their first official swimming lessons at the local Parks and Rec. Ruby is a "Polliwog" and is working on her floats, while Millie the Angelfish is learning how to backstroke and freestyle. Both the girls are having a blast and love being in the water. Their favorite part is the open swim after lessons and floating down the lazy river. They have both made some new "friends" - meaning kids they play with, but don't know their names! I am thinking about keeping up the lessons through the school year - maybe swimming will be a bigger hit than soccer!

I truly believe that we are going to have some "super" swimmers on our hands.
