Nana and Papa!

Nana and Papa came for a visit this last weekend! It was so good to see them, but so hard to see them go. While they were here we got to go into the mountains for hiking and lunch and head downtown to the Denver Art Museum. Millie was in school much of the time, but made good use of afterschool hours to catch up with Nana and her Webkinz. It was great to show them the new house and the neighborhood and to get their help with a few projects. We celebrated Millie's birthday and had a fun dinner out at a new restaurant in Littleton. Nana researched the restaurant extensively, but nowhere in the reviews did it say that a "family-friendly" dinner would take 3 hours. Despite the wait, the girls were awesome, the food was delicious and the wine made everyone merry (and made me look a little like a berry). We were sorry to see them go, but look forward to our next visit!

In the midst of all the fun I didn't get many photos taken, but here are a few from our hike in the mountains. Ruby's idea of hiking is being pushed in the stroller or (as you can see by the photos) getting a ride from Papa. We did coax her out of her chariot to do a little rock climbing with Papa!
