Kitchen Demo

Officially started the demo at the house today.  The whole family got in on the act of tearing out cabinets, removing appliances, and pulling up old carpet.  Ruby and Millie were especially fond of swinging the sledgehammer.  I am thinking that they each need their own power drill for Christmas! 

The contractors also got started on the roof...removing almost all of the shake shingles our insurance company was so leery of.  A lumber pack was delivered for the additional framing and trim in addition to a metal roof and some insulation.  R-30...I hope dad will approve!
