The girls and I took some time in the last two weeks to visit two local museums. The Denver Children's Museum was very cool - much like Wonderscope in KC. Millie and Ruby spent most of their time in the art area, grocery/restaurant area, and the nature center. They had this great climbing structure that resembled rabbit holes and bear dens. Millie and Ruby even got to dress the part of some of the woodland animals. Ruby invited herself into a game of tag with some other kids and she had a blast. She
The Denver Museum of Science and Nature was my favorite. I am sorry to say that the dusty old animals at the Kansas History Museum doesn't hold a candle to all the cool exhibits here (remember I am a KU fan...but I can not tell a lie)! Animals from every continent, gems/minerals, space exhibits, Native American culture...so many things we couldn't possibly do it all in one day. There were also a ton of dinosaur bones - we even talked to one of the volunteers that clean the bones and he showed us a few. You could see the bite marks on the one bone - amazing to think that something that old still exists. The girls loved the Discovery Zone, a place for kids to explore different stations (bubbles, puzzles, building, etc.). Add the fact that it was FREE day and you couldn't ask for much more!
Housing update: we are off to see more houses this afternoon - we found a really nice one yesterday that we are seeing again today. Keeping our fingers crossed that we can settle on something soon!

Ruby's friendliness must be in the gene pool~reminds me of another little girl who made lots of friends while on family vacations~
Can we add the Musuem of Science and Nature to the list of fun activities for Nana and Papa?
Looks marvelous........Mom/Nana
Libby and Matt, I finally figured out why I couldn't get on your blog and have enjoyed this morning catching up on your new adventures! I think you are with Nana and Pappa right now closing on the house in KC. Melanie told me you have found a new house in Colorado so everything is falling into place! I loved the pictures of the girls, camping and the beauty of Colorado. We miss you here in KC but are thrilled to be able to be in touch with your blog. A big hug from both of us, Love, Liz and Tony
