Housing Update #2

After a little rough patch with the inspection we have settled things in KC and we are set to close on the 22nd - PRAISE GOD! The girls and I are going to be flying back to open things up for the movers and to spend a little time away from the condo. I am looking forward to having some more space to live in...I am thinking of keeping the girls locked OUT of Nana and Papa's house so they get a lot of exercise. It will be sad to say goodbye to 6929 Oak Street - it was where so many things began. The memories will go with us... (thought some pictures from the past would be good - I will leave the sappy background music up to your imaginations - I am thinking "Moon River")

We did end up making an offer here in Colorado on a house, but it was not meant to be. The owners had some unseen personal problems arise and are no longer anxious to move. We are going out today to see some more properties and there is a little house from our previous excursions that I REALLY like... (stay tuned on that one!) We are finding that house hunting here is a little more difficult than expected. There is not much in our price range - many that are lower, but would need a ton of work (been there, done that) or those that stretch the top of our budget (but still have things we would like to do). I know that God will work it all to good (could some of you please keep reminding me of that please :) ! )

Nothing else much new here. The girls are having a great time with their new Barbies (lots of talk of boyfriends and getting married - oh brother) and I am enjoying my new computer. Thanks to Matt I am now online and I am burning up the keyboard with all my surfin! It is a sad commentary I know, but I feel so much more connected to the world now!!!
