Ruby loves to ruminate over her morning cocoa. Here are a few of her latest comments and questions.Scenerio: Ruby is doing a puzzle when Matt gets home from work.
Ruby: "Daddy you are welcome to join me if you would like to do a puzzle."
Scenerio: We are riding the lightrail and we are discussing plans for the afternoon.
Ruby: "Millie are you interested in watching a movie when we get home?"
Scenerio: Ruby is playing Little Pet shop as Matt and I are reading.
Ruby: "Mommy, what do you believe?"
Me: "What do you mean? "
Ruby: "I mean, what do you believe? I believe in God. Do you believe in God?" (apparently we haven't been to church enough lately)
Scenerio: I have not worn perfume for awhile and I was feeling a little sassy so I sprayed some on this morning. It wasn't until this evening as I put the kids to bed that they noticed.
Ruby: "Mommy you smell good."
Me: "What do I smell like?
Ruby: "You smell like church. Why do you smell like church?" (SHE knows we haven't been to church lately...why would I smell like a church. At least she remembers what I smelled like when we did go to church!)
